To meet the growing demand for 'green' products Reznor proposes 3 new types of heat pumps: The Chiller, Rooftop and the condenser unit.
The principle of a heatpump is simple: Energy from the environment is (if adding a small amount of electrical energy) converted into energy used for cooling or heating. Because natural resources are free you can save a lot on your energy costs.

A chiller is a 'air-water 'system and exists in 2 versions, namely:

• cooling
• heat pump version: cooling or heating

Each version offers 8 different models with capacities from 25 to 180 kW

Operation:

• Cooling: energy is extracted from the water to be cooled and is given off to the outside air.

• Cooling or heating: energy is extracted from the air and is given off to the water to be heated.

Advantages:

• easy installation and maintenance
• the units don't need much installation space
• even a lower outside temperature gives off enough energy to heat up a building
• can be used in cooling systems
• offers comfort all year long
• low installation costs
• no need for additional ground or well drillings

A rooftop is an 'air-air' system and exist in 2 versions, namely:

• RZRTA/K/WP 182-R÷453-R: single insulated with heat pump version (cooling and heating function).
• RZRTA/182÷804: double fold insulated with cooling function only or heat pump version.

Operation:

• Cooling: the units extract energy from the outside air to cool down the air in the indoor space and give off this energy to the outside air.

• Heating: the units extract energy from the outdoor air and give off this energy to the space to be heated.

A condensing unit exists in 10 different models with capacities from 50 to 188 kW. The units (outdoor installation) can be combined with evaporators in split system air conditioning installations, allowing rooms to be cooled and dehumidified or to be heated. This results in an optimal climatisation system.
