With this newsletter we are glad to inform you that Reznor offers a new thermostat: the T&B Energymizor 2.
This thermostat will replace our former Energymizor.

The T&B Energymizor 2 is the most elaborate apparatus controlling temperature in one room.

Our new thermostat connects without any problem to all our appliances: ON/OFF, two-stage and modulating burners (0-10V reinforced by GM44)

• FUNCTIONS
  The most important functions are: heating / ventilation function / summer function / off function / malfunction report /  unlocking function.
  
  
• OPTIMIZATION
  The T&B Energymizor 2 contains a device which calculates when the burner has to be turned on in order to reach the desired temperature BEFORE a certain time.
  
  
• DISPLAY
  At all time the display shows the day, date, time and the specific function of the apparatus.
  You also can choose your language (English, Dutch, French, German, Italian) and consult the history (for instance the number of hours the burner has functioned during the last 12 months).
  
  
• VACATION OPTION
  You can create 5 different vacation periods. During this periods a constant night temperature is maintained.
  
  
• SENSOR
  The thermostat already contains a sensor, but it is also possible to connect 2 external sensors.
  One extra sensor comes with the standard package.
  
  
• “ANTIFREEZE”
  The built-in protection against frost prevents damage to the building due to low external temperatures.
  
  
• NETWORK
  By using the RS485 protocol the T&B Energymizor 2 can be placed into a network.
  (max. 30 units in one network)
  
  
• SECURITY
  Only correct access codes allow to change the set-up of the thermostat. T
  Multi-level programming: user - installer - network.
  
  
• FAN OPERATION
  You can choose between four options to activate the fan:
  • using the clock in the Energymizor
  • activate manually
  • a high room temperature
    
    

The standard options of the T&B Energymizor 2 are already advantages compared to a classical thermostat.
But when we compare the T&B Energymizor 2 to our Energymizor, we can distinguish 4 great advantages:

• In standard configuration the thermostat already contains a sensor.  It is also possible to connect one or two additional external sensors.

• The T&B Energymizor 2 can connect to a network.  So you can monitor up to 30 devices with one thermostat.
  Using an access code it is possible to change the set up of a thermostat by a thermostat located in another room
  
  
• The display not only indicates the number of the device connected, but also its location. This is very useful when the T&B Energymizor 2 is connected to a network.
  
  
• The transition from ventilating to heating can be controlled by the clock.
